This original version seemed to need something so I added a cutout and got this (and the name):

The round patch (striped planet) comes from some previous experimenting with colors and blending. I haven't glued it down yet. I just tossed it on there to see how it would look.
The texture of the background is made by smooshing a piece of Saran wrap on the wet paint and letting it dry. Gives it those canal-looking ridges.
I am going to try and alternate cool and warm colors for this challenge. Otherwise everything will end up being blue.
I may add some text - a quote or just a word - at a later date.
