This is my drawing of an image from the book, How to Paint the Chinese Way, that I checked out of the library yesterday. In the book, all the images are fashioned with brush and ink. I used a simple mechanical pencil. I sprayed the finished drawing lightly with hairspray and hope that will keep the graphite from rubbing and smearing.
