It's always good practice to mix and experiment with your paints...especially when you're not trying to sketch something on the fly. I like that you've named this and made a painting out of it, too.
I need to experiment more with them. I really haven't taken the time to compare the colors with the 'cheapo' paints I had been using and the M. Grahams. Seeing is believing!
