Girl in a Big Hat

I drew this image from one in a book called The Yoga of Drawing by Jeanne Carbonetti. I like the simplicity of the lines. It is very Matisse-like. The background swirls already on the paper perfectly spotlight her face and add color to her hat and blouse. A happy accident!
